PUT YOUR LEGS UP A WALL

Known as Viparita Karani in yoga, lying with your legs up the wall, particularly before bed, has numerous health benefits. Most notably, this pose activates your parasympathetic nervous system, which is also known as your “rest and digest” system, promoting relaxation and setting you up for a great night’s sleep. It also helps to reduce stress and anxiety and can improve circulation and digestion.

Stay in the pose for two to twenty minutes and get ready for a restful night of sleep.
